Cloud Cover: 0%Arrived about 11:45 at the Button Rock Preserve trailhead parking lot and was on the water by 12:00. I found a sweet hole in the section just off the middle of the parking lot. It was shaded by the canyon walls and appeared to be a great holding place. I landed all browns - 12", 10" and 7" all between 1:30 - 2:15. I also hooked another small one but he threw the hook as I tried to net him. There was no action after 2:15 and I left @ 3pm.61.3 cfs#18 Rainbow warrior (with flash) was the most productive.Browns43 hours

Caught 2 small 5” Brookies on run adjacent to upper parking lot. Had to leave since Garmin wasn’t charged. Fished the Poudre on the northeast side of the SWA near the rest house. Caught 15” brown, 7 inch Rainbow, 6 inch Cutthroat on #14 Hare’s Ear. Drove up Rt 14 and stopped just north of Poudre Park at the raft launch pull off. N ST VRAIN CREEK AT WILD BASIN TRAIL NR ALLENSPARK10/15/2024overcup4132@gmail.comClear 62 degrees. Humidity: 30% Winds: 4.14mph. Cloud Cover: 3%Parked at the Finch Lake Trailhead and fished pools in that section adjacent to the roadway. Many cascading pools held brookies. Just kept moving after 1-2 catches in each pool. Covered 1/4 - 1/2 mile. On the return, parked at the Winter Trailhead lot and tried the meadows section with no results. Flows were too low and I didn't see any fish holding in bank areas. #16 Rainbow Warrior, #16 Red Copper John, #12 San Juan Worm Brookies64 hours
